The traditional Médoc grape varieties are used in the following proportions:
Merlot : 56%
Cabernet Sauvignon : 40 %
Petit Verdot : 4%
These grape varieties express all the originality of the terroir.
General vineyard management is based on the principles of "sustainable management", giving pride of place to the vines and their environment. At each stage of the plant life cycle, work is done to obtain the finest grapes at harvest time. Ploughing, natural grass cover, scratching and fertilizer allow the vine plant to push down deep into the soil. The vines are pruned in keeping with Médoc tradition. As required, leaf removal and crop thinning, which consist of removing the grapes that ripen later in order to boost the concentration of the other bunches, support our quality measures.
