The wines are matured in oak barrels for approximately 12 months. Each year, we select different types of barrels given that the varieties of woody aromas contribute to the quality and personality of each vintage.
Throughout the maturing process, the different batches are regularly tasted with our consultant oenologist, Antoine Médeville. The final blend is then chosen. Finally, 20 months after the harvest, Château Lestage wines are bottled at the estate.
